Easily one of my favorite mantra’s from Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic. The question is:
Do you want an easy life, or do you want an interesting one?
When you let go of safety and perfection and realize that mistakes, failures, side-steps, and surprises are just part of the one rich and vibrantly colorful journey you get to create, you build a whole lot more to look back on at the end of your life.
